The Only Way Is Essex’s Tom Kilbey caused a storm on Twitter on Friday night after jokingly tweeting that his girlfriend Lydia Bright is four months pregnant.
The reality TV star wrote: ’4 months! What shall we call it?’
He then shared an image of him affectionately kissing her bulging belly, which looked far bigger than her usual slender self.

His tweet caused a Twitter storm with TOWIE fans congratulating the couple, with one commenting: ‘OMG!! so happy for you guys !’
And even their co-star Lucy Mecklenburgh joined in, writing minutes later: ‘I’m godmother!!!’
Although again it is unclear whether she was in on the joke or was also genuinely fooled into congratulating the loved-up couple.
But the pair soon reassured fans that it was all one big joke, with Tom poking fun at Lydia’s rounder stomach after a care free Christmas.

Bright quickly chastised her boyfriend, who she started dating earlier this year, and commented: ‘OMG I’m not preggers sorry guys just to much Chinese food @tomkilbey you was not suppose to tweet that pic tut tut.’
It will no doubt come as a relief to some of Bright’s fans after she was spotted heading out on Boxing Day looking particularly worse for wear.
The reality star spent the night of Boxing Day with a few girlfriends at Funky Mojoes in South Woodford.

from a quiet night out, Lydia looked rather worse for wear as her sister Georgia tried to keep the cameras from capturing her inebriated state.
In the Christmas special of the ITV2 reality show, Lydia had declared to Lucy Mecklenburgh that she was leaving Essex for a while so she could get away from her ex-boyfriend James ‘Arg’ Argent.
The TV star is still with her boyfriend Tom Kilbey, the former Portsmouth FC football player and brother of TOWIE cast member Cara.
However, with her vintage shop and new home residing in the home county, just how much distance she was hoping to get between herself and Arg is up for debate.

And now ITV1 bosses are hoping she’ll do the same for Dancing On Ice after signing Ashley Roberts up to be the new judge on the 2013 panel.
The former Pussycat Dolls star has been confirmed as the new judge, and she’s already spoken of her excitement over the role.

The 31-year-old told the Daily Mirror: ‘IâÂÂm beyond excited. We have some fantastic names lined up for next year â and to work alongside Torvill & Dean is such an honour.
She then added: ‘TheyâÂÂre absolute legends.’
The dancer is said to have been chosen thanks to her ‘dance and performance expertise’ although she’s had no former experience of ice skating.

She will join controversial star Jason Gardiner, who returns as judge this year after his exit two years ago.
He will be reunited with Karen Barber, who he previously famously fell out with on the show, while Robin Cousins will return to head the panel.
And it means Ashley will help decide the fate of stars such as Pamela Anderson, Lauren Goodger and Keith Chegwin, who have all signed up to compete on the latest series.
‘Expertise’: She was chosen for her dancing background as part of the Pussycat Dolls, while it’s thought producers are hoping she’ll have the same effect as Nicole Scherzinger has had in sexing up this year’s X Factor
The move also means she’s followed in the footsteps of some of her fellow former Pussycat Dolls stars judging British TV talent shows.
Kimberly Wyatt has spent the last few years judging Got To Dance, while it’s thought producers are hoping Ashley will have the same effect that Nicole Scherzinger has had on sexing up The X Factor this year.
Executive producer of the programme, Katie Rawcliffe, told The Sun: ‘I’m really pleased we have Ashley on board, Karen and Jason back and Robin as head judge.
‘Between the four of them they bring a wealth of experience and knowledge in ice-skating, performance and dance and they are very vocal in their opinions.’
